FLORIDA (Boca Post) (Copyright © 2026) — A Florida Missing Child Alert has been issued for a 17-year-old girl from Hudson in Pasco County, according to the Florida Department of Law Enforcement.
FDLE identified the missing teen as Laskyra Spates-Carroway, 17. She is described as a Black female with blonde hair and brown eyes. FDLE lists her height as 5 feet, 6 inches and her weight as 180 pounds.
FDLE said she was last known to be in the Hudson area of Pasco County. The agency did not release additional details in the alert about when she was last seen or what circumstances led to the alert being issued.
Missing Child Alerts are used to push information quickly to the public and law enforcement agencies statewide. For South Florida readers, these alerts matter because they can involve travel across county lines, and tips can come from anywhere. People may see a person matching the description in a different part of Florida, including Broward or Palm Beach counties, and a quick call can help investigators narrow down where to look.
The Pasco County Sheriff's Office is the agency handling tips and information tied to the alert. Anyone with information is asked to contact the Pasco County Sheriff's Office at 727-847-8102 or call 911.
Residents should watch for updates from FDLE and the Pasco County Sheriff's Office and, if they believe they have information connected to the alert, use the phone numbers provided rather than posting unverified claims online. The official FDLE flyer remains available through the state’s Missing Child Information Center website.
