PARKLAND, FL – Boca Post (BocaPost.com) — The City of Parkland has several fun Halloween events coming up including a Halloween festival and a pumpkin patch.

Halloween Festival

The Parkland Halloween Festival will be hosted at Pine Trails Park on Friday, October 28th, 2022. The event will start at 5:30 PM and run through 7:30 PM.

Pine Trails Park is located at 10559 Trails End in Parkland.

The City of Parkland encourages you to put on your favorite Halloween costume and come out to enjoy a fun night of trunk or treating. The event will include photo booths, characters, stilt walkers, and a Halloween performance.

Parkland Pumpkin Patch

The Parkland Pumpkin Patch starts on Saturday, October 22nd, 2022, and will run through Thursday, October 27th, 2022. On weekends, you can expect the event to run from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM. On Weekdays, it will run from 5:00 PM to 7:30 PM.

The event will be held at the Equestrian Center located at 8350 Ranch Road in Parkland.

The Parkland Pumpkin Patch features a petting zoo, photo ops, face painting, arts and crafts, and community games for families to enjoy. Get there early so you can find the perfect pumpkin for your family.

The city of Parkland advises that prices vary and supplies are limited.

Scarecrow Decorating Contest

Feeling creative and competitive? Join the scarecrow decorating contest to compete for featuring your scarecrow at the parkland pumpkin patch.

Join the scarecrow decorating contest by picking up a scarecrow skeleton at the P-REC front desk (residents only). Decorate the skeleton and bring it back to the P-REC by October 22nd to be displayed at our Pumpkin Patch. Supplies are limited.

All submissions are due by October 22nd, 2022. The best decoration winners will be chosen and announced at the Halloween festival.
