BOCA RATON, FL (Boca Post) (Copyright © 2025) — Mizner Park Amphitheater is lining up a full weekend of music in March, mixing Delta blues, full orchestra, Beatles tributes and plenty of nostalgia under the lights.

The two-night run is billed as “An Unforgettable Weekend of Music and FUN! From The Blues, To The Beatles and Beyond!!” and will feature Morgan Freeman’s Symphonic Blues Experience, a symphonic Paul McCartney tribute, and a slate of Beatles-inspired acts.

Headlining Saturday, March 14, at 8 p.m. is Morgan Freeman’s Symphonic Blues Experience, described by organizers as a “groundbreaking live concert experience” that blends the deep-rooted history of the blues with the power of orchestral music. Gates will open at a time still listed as TBA.

The show is guided by the voice and vision of Academy Award–winning cinema legend Morgan Freeman. Organizers say the performance is designed as more than a standard concert, pitching it as “an immersive and poignant journey through sound, culture, and storytelling.”

Through narration, live Delta blues and full symphonic arrangements, the production walks audiences through the Mississippi Delta roots of the genre and the way the blues has shaped global music. Organizers describe it as a “profound immersive experience,” using Freeman’s narration to tie together the music and history on stage.

Friday night, March 13, belongs to Live & Let Die: A Symphonic Tribute to Paul McCartney, also set for 8 p.m. at Mizner Park Amphitheater. Gates for that show are also listed as TBA.

The production stars Tony Kishman, who has been praised in media coverage as “the Quintessential, Paul McCartney.” According to the event description, Kishman has performed for audiences around the world and is regarded by “Beatlemaniacs” as one of the top McCartney look-alike and sound-alike performers, backed by a lineup of world-class musicians. The show “continues to gather glowing reviews and sell out major venues across the globe,” organizers say.

Friday’s McCartney tribute will feature a live orchestra, with Maestro Luis David Aguilar conducting The Magical Mystery Orchestra alongside the Live & Let Die band. The night is promoted as an “all out symphonic multi media tribute to Paul McCartney,” pairing rock band, orchestra and visuals.

Rounding out the weekend is a roster of themed acts aimed at Beatles fans and classic rock listeners.

The Old Time Sailors show is billed as a high-energy mix of music and theater, with a troupe of more than 30 musicians and actors “from England and sometimes Argentina.” Promotional material promises “Fab Music, Blarney and High Intense Shenanigans” and urges the crowd to be ready to dance, sing and “laugh your booty off.” Organizers pitch it as “Monty Python meets The Beatles on the set of Pirates Of The Caribbean.”

Drummer Gregg Bissonette, known for his work with Ringo Starr’s All Starr Band, is also on the lineup. Bissonette is described as one of the most versatile drummers in the business, performing with Starr’s group since 2008. His resume includes work with David Lee Roth, James Taylor, Santana on the Grammy-winning album Supernatural, Don Henley, Joe Satriani, Andrea Bocelli, ELO, Maynard Ferguson, Spinal Tap, Steve Lukather, The Reddcoats and many others.

Beatles-style tribute bands The Peakles and Strawberry Lane will add even more Fab Four flavor to the weekend.

The Peakles’ shows are promoted as capturing “the essence of The Beatles’ music,” with performances aimed at bridging generations and keeping interest in the band alive for longtime fans and younger listeners. Organizers call their performances “an unmissable experience for any Beatles fan.”

Strawberry Lane is described as “bringing the timeless magic of The Beatles to life,” performing iconic hits and classic rock “with authentic energy and nostalgia.”

All told, the weekend package at Mizner Park Amphitheater is set up as a mix of symphonic blues, orchestral rock and Beatles tributes under one roof in downtown Boca Raton, with more specific gate times still to be announced.
