BOCA RATON, FL (Boca Post) (Copyright © 2025) — The City of Boca Raton will host its “Red, White & Boca” Veterans Day celebration on Tuesday, November 11, from 4 to 8 p.m. at Mizner Park Amphitheater.
In a note to residents, the Mayor invited neighbors to “join us this Tuesday, November 11 for our Red, White & Boca Veterans Day celebration,” and pointed to seasonal gatherings ahead, including the Tree Lighting at Mizner Park and free workout classes at Wildflower Park. The Mayor also said plans under discussion for the downtown campus “have changed further to propose more than doubling the green space than what exists now,” with details still to come.
At Mizner Park Amphitheater, the city’s evening program features live music, remarks from speakers, veterans service organizations, food trucks, veteran-owned businesses, and a classic car show. Doors open at 4 p.m.; the presentation of colors is set for 4:45 p.m. to begin the program. Earlier that morning, VFW Post 10556 will host its annual Veterans Day Program at 9:30 a.m. at Veteran’s Memorial Park, 9400 W. Palmetto Park Road, between Lyons Road and U.S. 441 in unincorporated Palm Beach County.
The ceremony includes a procession of colors, guest speakers, and patriotic music. It is free and open to the public, presented with the Palm Beach County Parks and Recreation Department, and supported by Palm Beach County, Grimes Events and Party Tents, and Professional Concessions Inc. Between the county-run morning observance in West Boca and the city’s evening celebration at Mizner Park, residents have two options to mark Veterans Day — a quiet green space west of town and a larger amphitheater program downtown. Flags at 9:30 a.m. in West Boca. Colors at 4:45 p.m. at Mizner.
