DELRAY BEACH, FL (Boca Post) (Copyright © 2026) — A civil lawsuit filed in Palm Beach County alleges a property management company failed to maintain safe conditions at a Delray Beach shopping plaza, resulting in a fall and injuries.

The case, Dolores Conners v. Kings Point Recreation Corporation, Inc., Case No. 502026CA005020XXXAMB, was filed May 4, 2026, in the Circuit Court of the 15th Judicial Circuit in and for Palm Beach County, Florida. The complaint was submitted by Kogan and DiSalvo, P.A., which represents the plaintiff.

According to the complaint, Kings Point Recreation Corporation, Inc. served as the property management company responsible for maintaining the premises at 7000 Atlantic Avenue in Delray Beach, a location described as a shopping plaza. The plaintiff alleges the defendant had a duty to maintain, inspect, and repair the property to ensure it remained reasonably safe for visitors.

The lawsuit states that on or about May 25, 2025, Dolores Conners was on the property as an invitee when the incident occurred. She claims the defendant failed to properly maintain the premises, specifically alleging that damaged sidewalk areas were not corrected.

The complaint alleges these conditions caused Conners to trip and fall. It further claims the defendant did not provide warnings about the condition and that the hazard either was known or should have been known to the property manager due to the length of time it existed.

As a result of the fall, Conners alleges she suffered bodily injury along with pain and suffering, disability, disfigurement, mental anguish, and loss of capacity to enjoy life. The complaint also claims she incurred medical expenses and loss of earnings, and may continue to experience these losses in the future.

The lawsuit seeks damages exceeding $50,000, along with interest, costs, and other relief deemed appropriate by the court. A jury trial has been demanded on all issues so triable as a matter of right.

All allegations outlined in the complaint are claims made by the plaintiff and have not been proven in court.
