DELRAY BEACH, FL (Boca Post) (Copyright © 2025) — A Colorado-based auto repair vendor has filed a civil lawsuit in Palm Beach County, alleging it was never fully paid for hail repair work performed at a Delray Beach body shop earlier this year.

The complaint was filed Dec. 10, 2025, in the Fifteenth Judicial Circuit Court in and for Palm Beach County. The case is styled Hail Free Solutions Inc. v. Carstar Delray Beach, Case No. 502025CA012829XXXAMB, and is assigned to Division AK.

According to the filing, Hail Free Solutions Inc. is based in Highlands Ranch, Colorado. Carstar Delray Beach operates out of a location on North Congress Avenue, just north of Atlantic Avenue, a familiar stretch for drivers heading in and out of the city.

The lawsuit alleges the two companies entered into a contractual agreement on or about May 12, 2025. Under that agreement, Hail Free Solutions was to provide auto hail repair services for vehicles handled by Carstar Delray Beach, and Carstar was required to pay invoices within 30 days of the invoice date.

The complaint states that Hail Free Solutions performed repair work from May through July 2025. Invoices were issued during that period, but the plaintiff alleges those invoices were not paid on time, or at all, as required under the contract.

Despite what the filing describes as prior communication with Timothy Hassinger, identified as the business owner, and multiple opportunities to resolve the balance, payment allegedly never came.

That’s the heart of the dispute.

According to the complaint, the unpaid balance for services rendered totals $61,823.61. The filing also claims a 2.5 percent late fee of $1,545.59, which Hail Free Solutions says is permitted under the signed agreement between the parties. Together, the plaintiff alleges the total amount due is $63,369.20.

The lawsuit asserts a claim for breach of contract and nonpayment, and seeks to recover the outstanding amount allegedly owed. No additional causes of action are listed in the filing.

There is no response from Carstar Delray Beach included in the court record attached to the complaint. As with all civil cases, the defendant will have an opportunity to file an answer or other response in court. No findings have been made, and the allegations have not been proven.

No hearings or trial dates are listed in the filing. The case remains in its early stages.
