DEERFIELD BEACH, FL (Boca Post) (Copyright © 2023) — BSO is asking for help in identifying who vandalized a city building in Deerfield Beach.

According to the Broward Sheriff’s Office, detectives with the Deerfield Beach District are seeking the public’s help to identify and locate individuals responsible for vandalizing several locations within Deerfield Beach. A reward of up to $5,000 is being offered for tips that lead to an arrest.

According to investigators, on April 26, a BSO Deerfield Beach District deputy observed graffiti on a newly built city building near the 100 block of Southeast 21st Avenue. Since then, unknown individuals have tagged multiple locations within Deerfield Beach and neighboring jurisdictions.

Detectives say the perpetrators used white, silver, gold, and brown spray paint to tag walls and dumpsters with the word “love” and “XOXO.” Spray paintings of hearts and a teddy bear have also been seen.

Anyone with information about the criminal mischief is asked to contact Broward Crime Stoppers at 954-493-TIPS (8477).
