DEERFIELD BEACH, FL (Boca Post) (Copyright © 2024) — A man was apprehended for the tragic murders of Marrina Guadagnino and Andre Lanns III in Deerfield Beach.

The incident occurred on June 13, 2024, at around 5;45 a.m. In the 4000 block of Eastridge Drive. Broward Sheriff’s Office Homicide Unit detectives took Andre Lanns into custody following reports of a shooting. Upon arrival at the scene, authorities found Lanns with a self inflicted gunshot wound and provided him with medical assistance at a nearby hospital.After examining the situation, deputies found two individuals. A woman and a baby boy. At a nearby home with gunshot injuries. They were both declared deceased at the scene. The Homicide and Crime Scene units of BSO arrived to look into the circumstances surrounding the shootings.
Following an investigation and the evidence collected on site, BSO detectives secured an arrest warrant for Lanns for two charges of first degree murder late on Thursday night. Lanns is currently in critical condition in the hospital. The investigation is still ongoing.
