LOXAHATCHEE, FL (Boca Post) — A tow truck rolled over and slid into a Loxahatchee canal calling for a large fire rescue response.

Palm Beach County Fire Rescue tells Boca Post that Battalion 2 and Special Operations units responded to Collecting Canal Road in Loxahatchee just before 8 AM on Thursday morning in reference to a truck that rolled into the canal.

One person was transported to the hospital for evaluation and treatment.

Crews immediately got to work and deployed oil/hydrocarbon fluid-absorbing booms to prevent further contamination. PBCFR says that the EOC and Environmental Control Agencies were informed.
