Grace Woerner Passed Away Days After Loxahatchee Rollover Crash

LOXAHATCHEE, FL (Boca Post) — 71-year-old Grace Woerner of Loxahatchee has passed away days after a rollover accident she was involved in near Okeechobee Boulevard and Seminole Pratt Whitney Road in Loxahatchee on Tuesday, October 25th, 2022.

The Palm Beach County Sheriff’s Office tells Boca Post that at approximately 12:16 PM on Tuesday, October 25th, 2022, deputies responded to the Seminole Pratt Whitney Road and Okeechobee Boulevard area in Loxahatchee in response to a rollover car accident.

Responding PBSO district deputies and Palm Beach County Fire Rescue found a Nissan Rogue turned over in front of a home on the 16000 block of Okeechobee Boulevard.

Detectives tell us that 71-year-old Grace Woerner was driving a 2017 Nissan Rogue westbound on Okeechobee Blvd east of Seminole Pratt Whitney Road. For unknown reasons, Woerner veered to the right, overtook the curb, traversed the swale, impacted a standing pole, and a fence, and came to rest in front of a home on the 16000 block of Okeechobee Boulevard.

Woerner was transported to St. Mary’s Hospital. Sadly, Woerner succumbed to her injuries two days following the accident.

According to the official accident report, there were no other occupants in the vehicle.
