Christine Solebello-Diedrich, 71, Passed Away

BOCA RATON, FL (Boca Post) (Copyright © 2024) — 71-year-old Christine Solebello-Diedrich of Boca Raton died days after her Infiniti plunged into a lake at her Boca Lago home.

Christine Solebello-Diedrich, 71, of the 21500 block of Cypress Hammock Drive in Boca Raton, was parked facing north, in the parking lot to the west of building 38, inside the Boca Lago community.

For an unknown reason Solebello-Diedrich began to drive forward, through the bushes that were directly in front of her Infiniti QX50. Solebello-Diedrich then continued to drive straight into the lake.

The Crossover SUV floated on the surface for a short period before sinking. Investigators say that Solebello-Diedrich was unable to exit the vehicle.

Solebello-Diedrich was extracted from the vehicle by Palm Beach County Fire Rescue and resuscitation efforts began. Solebello-Diedrich was transported to Boca Regional Medical Center, for continuing treatment.

Sadly, Solebello-Diedrich was pronounced deceased while in hospice on Saturday, February 3rd, 2024.
