69-Year-Old Kelsey Slager Of Maryland Passes Away After Deadly Scooter Accident

DELRAY BEACH, FL (Boca Post) — 69-year-old Kelsey Slager crashed her scooter into the located at the entrance of Tuscan Gardens Assisted Living development causing serious injuries that she late succumbed to.

Palm Beach Sheriff’s Office tells Boca Post that Slager was traveling southbound on Sims Road, approaching the 14300 block.

For undetermined reasons, Slager veered off the eastern side of the roadway and collided with the concrete curb of the entrance of the Tuscan Gardens Assisted Living Development

During the collision, Slager vaulted up and onto the grass and dirt eastern shoulder of the roadway, south of the development entrance.

Slager and her scooter came to rest on the eastern shoulder a short distance south of the point of impact.

For injuries received during the collision, Slager was transported to Delray Medical Center and remains in critical condition.

Slager passed away at Delray Medical Center five days after the accident.
