LOXAHATCHEE, FL (Boca Post) (Copyright © 2025) — Three people were killed late Sunday night in a violent head-on crash on State Road 80 in Loxahatchee that left one vehicle engulfed in flames and shut down the roadway for investigators.

According to a Palm Beach County Sheriff’s Office traffic crash report, the collision happened at about 10:57 p.m. on Dec. 28, near the 19700 block of State Road 80, just east of Arden Lake Way.

Investigators said a 2011 Toyota Tacoma traveling southbound on Arden Lake Way turned onto eastbound State Road 80 but entered the westbound travel lanes. At the same time, a 2017 Chevrolet Equinox and a 2025 Ford Bronco Sport were traveling westbound on SR-80 and approaching the intersection.

As the Tacoma moved head-on into oncoming traffic, the front of the pickup struck the front of the Chevrolet, according to the report. The impact sent the Chevrolet south, directly into the path of the Ford.

The driver of the Ford attempted to swerve to avoid the collision, but investigators said the front left of the Ford still struck the Chevrolet as it was pushed into its path.

After the collisions, the Toyota Tacoma came to rest on its driver’s side in the center lane of State Road 80. The report states the truck became fully engulfed in fire as a result of the crash.

The Chevrolet Equinox came to rest in the grassy median, facing north. The Ford Bronco Sport was brought to a controlled stop just east of Arden Lake Way.

Two occupants of the Chevrolet were killed. The driver was identified as Sasha Treadway, 50, of Westland, Michigan. A passenger in the Chevrolet, Kristara Lasalle-Corujo, 36, of Cape Coral, was also killed. Both were wearing seatbelts, according to investigators.

The driver of the Toyota Tacoma was pronounced dead at the scene. That driver’s name had not been released as next of kin has not yet been notified, according to PBSO.

The driver of the Ford Bronco Sport, identified as Bradley King, 24, of West Palm Beach, was not injured. He was wearing a seatbelt, according to the report.

No passengers were listed in the Ford. The crash report did not indicate alcohol or drugs as a contributing factor for any of the drivers.

The roadway was closed for several hours overnight as deputies documented the scene and conducted the traffic homicide investigation. Multiple investigators responded, and the fatality was logged shortly after 11:11 p.m.

The crash remains under investigation by the Palm Beach County Sheriff’s Office Traffic Division. PBSO did not indicate that any criminal charges have been filed or are pending at this time.
