Authorities from the Broward Sheriff’s Office Traffic Homicide Unit have revealed that the individual who tragically lost their life in a severe solo car accident in Weston has been identified as Adrian Di Loreto Para, a 26 year old.

WESTON, FL (Boca Post) (Copyright © 2024) — BSO is investigating a crash that left a man dead in Weston early on Sunday morning.

Authorities from the Broward Sheriff’s Office Traffic Homicide Unit are currently looking into a tragic single vehicle accident that resulted in the death of a man in Weston.

The incident, which involved a fiery collision, took place around 3;30 a.m. On Sunday, May 26th, close to the intersection of State Road 84 and Bonaventure Boulevard. Initial findings suggest that the driver of a 2024 Tesla Model 3 was heading east on State Road 84 towards Bonaventure Boulevard. As the Tesla moved into the U turn lane to pass under the Interstate 75 overpass, the driver failed to navigate the turn for reasons yet unknown and veered off the road, colliding with a support column for the overpass.

Authorities report that flames engulfed the vehicle upon impact.

Officers from BSO arrived at the scene to conduct an investigation. The Broward Sheriff Fire Rescue team also arrived promptly and managed to extinguish the fire. Medical responders confirmed that the driver had passed away at the site due to severe burns.

At present, there is no information available regarding the identity of the driver owing to extensive injuries sustained during this tragic event.

The circumstances leading up to this crash are still being looked into by authorities.
