Suspect Arrested After Fatal Shooting In West Park

The detectives from Broward Sheriff’s Office Homicide Unit arrested someone in connection with a shooting incident that took away a 51 year old mans life in West Park neighborhood of Florida states Broward County region on Wednesday evening around 8;26 pm on February 5th. A distressed call was placed to Broward County Regional Communications reporting a shooting incident in proximity to Pembroke Roads 4000 block in West Park locality where deputies from BSO district along with Hollywood Fire Rescue promptly responded to help. Upon reaching the location of the incident and with urgency displayed by first responder teams on site lead them to find Brannon Graham who was found injured due, to gunshot wounds inflicted upon him there at that time. Paramedics rushed Graham to Memorial Regional Hospital for attention and despite their best efforts he was declared deceased later on. The Homicide Unit detectives from BSO were. Arrived at the scene for investigation purposes when the suspect had already left the area by the time deputies reached there. That day with thorough investigative approaches in place; authorities managed to find and apprehend the suspect identified as Melchior Warren. Initial findings indicated that both individuals engaged in an argument which turned into a physical confrontation ultimately resulting in Graham being shot dead by Warren. Warren was taken into custody on charges of second degree murder, with the use of a firearm. After he was taken into custody by the authorities he was moved to the jail, in Broward County.
