The sheriff has raised concerns about public safety in Broward County once again, pointing out discrepancies in the proposed budgets of the Sheriff’s Office and County Administration. Sheriff Dr. Gregory Tony highlighted the detailed budget submission by BSO for the fiscal year 2024/2025, emphasizing the need for increased funding to support staffing, operations and equipment.
