A tragic incident occurred in Wilton Manors as a pedestrian lost her life in a collision. The Broward Sheriff’s Office is currently investigating the crash that took place on the 300 block of West Oakland Park Boulevard. The victim, Makayla Denise Brown, aged 18, was struck by a 2008 Ford Expedition driven by Clifton Edward Schudamore. This heartbreaking event has left the community in mourning.After the accident, Brown was taken to a nearby hospital, where she was sadly declared deceased. The Ford driver stayed at the scene.
The inquiry is still in progress.
