Broward County To Distribute At-Home Rapid Test Kits Saturday

Pickup From 3 Public Libraries. While Supplies Last.

BROWARD COUNTY, FL (Boca Post) — Broward County officials have announced that they have received a limited number of COVID-19 at-home rapid test kits and plan to distribute them on Saturday, January 8th, 2022.

Broward county will distribute the COVID-19 at-home rapid test kits from 10am – 6pm, while supplies last at the following public libraries:

  • Margate Catherine Young Library
    5810 Park Drive
    Margate, FL 33063
  • South Regional / Broward College Library
    7300 Pines Blvd.
    Pembroke Pines, FL 33024
  • Tyrone Bryant Branch Library
    2230 NW 21st Ave.
    Fort Lauderdale, FL 33311

Note: None of the above libraries will be open for regular services on this day.

Broward will only distribute kits to Broward residents. Residents will be asked to show proof of Broward county residency. This will be a drive through service only, no one will be entering the libraries. Officials are asking that everyone wear a face mask when using the drive through.

Kits will be provided on a first-come, first-served basis.

Broward County officials add:

“While the County will continue to ask for more at-home test kits, it is unclear if additional kits will be received. Kits are expected to go quickly.
