Investigators, from the Browards Sheriffs Office Homicide Unit worked alongside BSOs V.I.P.E.R (Violent Intervention Proactive Enforcement Response team to apprehend Tyler Mobley on charges related to the death of Bryanna Nina.
The tragic event took place around 6;43 p.m on a Monday evening in North Lauderdale near Southwest 76th Avenues 1000 block area. Authorities from BSO along, with North Lauderdale Fire Rescue rushed to respond to a report of gunfire at that spot. Upon arriving at the scene first responders found Nina with gunshot injuries. Medical personnel then took her to Broward Health North where she was unfortunately declared deceased on.
Witnesses reported that Nina was seen standing outside an apartment building as unidentified individuals emerged from a colored car and started firing shots. Investigators mentioned that the assailants quickly left the area after the gunfire incident occurred. Authorities from BSO Crime Scene and Homicide Unit arrived to conduct an investigation, at the scene.
Throughout the investigation process Mobley was pinpointed as a person of interest in the murder case. Authorities secured a warrant, for his arrest.
The V.I.P.E.R unit of BSO apprehended Mobley in Sunrise on Monday the 21st of October, for charges including first degree murder and several probation violations.
The inquiry is ongoing.
