COOPER CITY, FL (Boca Post) (Copyright © 2024) — A group of teens riding an off-road vehicle runs over, kills gaggle of Geese, according to witnesses.

According to detectives with the Broward Sheriff’s Office in Cooper City, a group of 4-5 teens were seen riding in an off road vehicle, similar to the one pictured, near the lake/easement area in between the Flamingo Gardens West subdivision and the Countryside Shops Plaza in Cooper City on on Saturday December 28, 2024, at approximately 7:45 PM. That is when the teens were seen running over a gaggle of approximately 30 Egyptian Geese, killing all of them.

BSO says an eye-witness to the incident followed the teens but lost sight of them when the off-road vehicle, likely a Polaris 4-seater Side-By-Side, pulled in to the Flamingo Townhomes subdivision.

BSO is asking for anyone who is able to identify the owner of the vehicle to contact Detective C. Strachan at (954) 435-2200 ext. 6 or via e-mail [email protected].
