WEST PARK, FL (Boca Post) — BSO partnered with other local law enforcement agencies to apprehend 18-year-old Jamaine Hunt who they say shot and killed 3 people in West Park last September.

On Friday, Dec. 2, law enforcement agents arrested Jamaine Hunt in Miami. Homeland Security Investigations Miami assisted in the arrest. He was arrested for two counts of felony murder in the third degree and principal in the first degree. He is currently in federal custody on unrelated charges.

At approximately 12:09 a.m. on Monday, Sept. 12, Broward Regional Communications received a report of a shooting in the 4100 block of Southwest 21st Street in West Park. BSO deputies and Broward Sheriff Fire Rescue responded. On scene, deputies located an adult male victim suffering from a gunshot wound. Paramedics transported the victim to a nearby hospital where he was later pronounced deceased. Deputies located a second adult male victim at the scene who was pronounced deceased. Deputies also learned that a third shooting victim, a teenage male, was taken to a nearby hospital by a private vehicle. That victim was pronounced deceased at the hospital.

BSO’s Homicide and Crime Scene Units responded to the scene and are continuing to investigate the incident.

The victims include a juvenile male and two adult males. The names of the victims have not been released as per Marsy’s Law.
