PLANTATION, FL — Investigators from the Special Victims Unit of the Broward Sheriffs Office apprehended a teacher on Friday for involved in inappropriate sexual conduct, with a minor.

Detectives reported that Candace Brown (35) who worked as a teacher at Sawgrass Adventist School in Plantation area was involved in behavior, with a 14 year old male student according to authorities on Monday afternoon. The victim shared with investigators that the incidents occurred in Deerfield Beach during this summer season.

Brown surrendered at the Broward County Main Jail on Friday the 22nd of November to face charges that include engaging in behavior with a minor under the age of 16 and sharing harmful material with a minor through electronic means.
