Outstanding Acts Of Service Take Center Stage During Bso’S Annual Awards Ceremony

Join us on Thursday afternoon at April 2025 at Bailey Hall located at Broward College for Broward Sheriff’s Office Annual Awards Ceremony where we will celebrate and recognize our dedicated employees and community members for their outstanding service, in making our community a safer place to live in!At the BSOs Annual Awards Ceremony this year will be a communications operator known for their composure in tough situations a tech team member who strengthened BSOs cybersecurity measures and a patrol squad that managed over 19k service calls last year. Also being honored is a soul who aided in saving aircrew members from a helicopter crash due, to mechanical issues. Three hearted individuals who showed exceptional bravery by assisting a victim in a violent attack will also be honored alongside the group at the upcoming event scheduled for April 24th. During this ceremony held to acknowledge five Medal of Honor recipients for their acts of courage in facing life threatening situations such as confronting an active shooter and rescuing individuals from dangerous situations, like a devastating crash or treacherous waters.
