BROWARD COUNTY, FL — September 11th is a day that will always remain etched, in our memories.

Sheriff Dr. Gregory Tony and the dedicated individuals of the Broward Sheriff’s Office honor the memory of the victims and heroes who were tragically lost on September 11th in 2001.

“Its been, over two decades since the tragic events of 9/11 unfolded and the impact still resonates within us today ” remarked Sheriff Dr.Gregory Tony. “In a split our lives changed forever; a poignant shift particularly felt by the loved ones of the almost 3 thousand individuals who lost their lives that fateful day.”

Today marked an event as BSO organized its inaugural 9//11 Memorial Stair Climb to honor the brave individuals and victims of September 11th 2001.The dedicated BSO team united to climb 2,500 stairs in remembrance of the heroic ascent of 110 flights by first responders, in the Twin Towers.
