The Broward Sheriffs Office Homicide Unit detectives have announced the apprehension of a 25 year individual named Carl Taylor on Friday the 21st of February in connection with the unfortunate passing of Nathaniel Ursery due to a shooting incident in unincorporated Central Broward on April 6th of the year 2023. On Thursday the 6th of April at 2;06 a.m. reports of a shooting near the vicinity of the 2900 block of Northwest Eighth Court in unincorporated Central Broward prompted responses, from BSO deputies and Broward Sheriff Fire Rescue officials. Deputies found Ursery at the scene with a gunshot wound in the neck. Rushed him to Broward Health Medical Center in critical condition. BSOs Crime Scene and Violent Crimes units were called in to investigate after Urserys passing 23 days due to his injuries. Following procedures by detectives led to the identification of Taylor, as the shooter and resulted in a warrant being issued for his arrest. The authorities, from BSOs V.I.P.E.R (Violence Intervention Proactive Enforcement Response unit apprehended Taylor on Friday the 21st of February on charges of first degree murder involving a firearm.
