Body Found In Boynton Beach Lake, Pbso Investigating

BOYNTON BEACH, FL (Boca Post) — PBSO is investigating after a body was found floating in a lake in the Ashley Lake apartment complex in unincorporated Boynton Beach on Thanksgiving morning.

According to sources close to the incident, Palm Beach County Fire Rescue responded to a possible drowning call behind Ashley Lake apartments on Ashley Lake Drive in western Boynton Beach on Thanksgiving morning. First responders found one person who was deceased.

PBSO says that a resident of Ashley Lakes called PBSO Dispatch to advise he/she saw a body floating in a lake on the Ashley Lakes property.

Detectives are currently on the scene.  Once the body is removed from the water a ME Investigator will examine it.  An autopsy will be performed later to determine the exact cause of death.

PBSO, who is investigating, is not identifying the person found at this time.
