BOYNTON BEACH, FL (Boca Post) — A 4 year old girl was found at Kapok park by herself on Wednesday evening. According to Boynton Beach Police Department few hours later her mother was located.

BBPD was asking for the publics help on Wednesday evening, December 29th, 2021, in locating the parent / guardian of 4 year old Emily who they found at Kapok part unsupervised and alone. Emily told police she did not know her last name.

BBPD said a few hours later that the mother has been located and that this is considered an active investigation.

BBPD thanks the citizens of Boynton Beach for the assistance and says that “Our community is amazing.”

It is unclear at the moment if charges are pending or not.
