Harry Mulder, 78, Passed Away

BOYNTON BEACH, FL — A 78-year-old bicyclist was killed in Boynton Beach.

The crash happened just after 9 AM on Sunday, March 10th, 2024, near Pipers Glen Boulevard and El Clair Ranch Road in Boynton Beach.

A Honda CRV traveling east on Pipers Glen Boulevard came to a stop at the intersection of El Clair Ranch Road, where a 79 year old man named Harry Mulder was cycling south on the sidewalk towards the same intersection.

As the Honda proceeded through the intersection heading east, Mulder entered the crosswalk and crossed paths with the vehicle, resulting in a collision between the front of the Honda and the right side of Mulder’s bicycle.

The impact caused Mulder to be thrown off his bicycle onto the road. The bicycle overturned, while the Honda came to a stop facing east after the collision. Emergency services transported Mulder to Delray Medical Center by Palm Beach County Fire Rescue but tragically he succumbed to his injuries and was pronounced dead at 9;45 a.m.

Fortunately, no personal injuries were reported for the driver of the Honda.
