BOCA RATON, FL (Boca Post) — In addition to competing on the field tomorrow, The University of Toledo will battle it out with Liberty University in a joint pep rally at Mizner Park Amphitheater tonight at 6 PM.
University of Toledo’s 120-member band and Liberty University’s 250-member band will go head-to-head during the pep rally which is free for all to join. As fans come to cheer and get ready for the Boca Raton Bowl.
“We encourage everyone to come early because you don’t want to miss a minute of the fanfare,” shared Doug Mosley, executive director of RoofClaim.com Boca Raton Bowl. “It’s a great opportunity for our Palm Beach County community to roll out the red-carpet welcome for these visiting teams and their fans gathering in celebration of Boca’s annual holiday-timed Bowl tradition.”
You can expect to hear Toledo’s fight song, “U of Toledo”, performed by the 120-member band as well as “Fan the Flames” by Liberty’s 250-member marching band.
The holiday-themed event is easily followed by continuing to enjoy the holiday ambiance currently available at Mizner Park and downtown Boca Raton.
The RoofClaim.com Boca Raton Bowl, which made its debut in 2014, is one of 17 bowl games operated by ESPN Events. The Boca Raton Bowl will be held at FAU Stadium on Tuesday evening, starting at 7:30 PM.
