Emanuel Nektalov Arrested, Charged With Theft

BOCA RATON, FL (Boca Post) (Copyright © 2023) — “The Car Guy” owner Emanuel Nektalov is facing several charges after customers say he ripped them off.

The Boca Raton Police Department arrested 29-year-old Emanuel Nektalov, owner of “The Car Guy” in Boca Raton, after several people have come forward to report they paid for a luxury car that they never received.

Several arrest affidavits, each for a different victim, all report something very similar. A victim finds a luxury car on Craigslist and ends up wiring money to “The Car Guy” in Boca Raton. Unfortunately, the only thing the “The Car Guy” delivers is excuse after excuse as to why the vehicle cannot be delivered. Nektalov never refunds the victim’s money and never delivers the cars.

One of the victims tells Police that after transferring $17,596.15 to Nektalov for a Porsche Cayenne GTS, the vehicle was mysteriously had mechanical issues and could not be moved from the location it was at. When the victim went to see Nektalov in person at The Car Guy in Boca Raton, which is located at 2640 NW 1st Ave, he didn’t find the car but he did find another victim.

In all, Boca Raton Police investigators are working with 4 different victims who all have a similar story. They paid Nektalov a large amount of money for a vehicle that they never received.

Emanuel Nektalov was arrested and is facing the following charges:

  • 3 counts of (different victims) 812.014(12c) Grand Theft (More Than $10,000 but Less Than $20,000)
  • 2 counts of (different victims) 812.014(12b) Grand Theft Over $20,000
