BOCA RATON, FL — PBSO seeking information on a group that stole a Chihuahua from a puppy boutique in West Boca Raton.

A surveillance video has been released by the Palm Beach County Sheriff’s Office showing the theft a $7000 puppy from a pet store as perpetrated by what appears to be a family.

PBSO reports say that the four individuals visiting the pet store together on October 30th, 2021 had a young boy with them. Investigators say that the members of the family entered the Puppy Buddy Pet Store in the evening and left with a Chihuahua puppy worth $7000 but didn’t pay for it.

Investigators say the video shows two women working together to swipe Rosie, a female chihuahua 12 weeks of age. They say one woman in a black shirt concealed another in a white blouse picking up and putting the puppy into her bag.

Investigators say a man in a yellowish shirt stood outside while looking into the store during the operation and was obviously with the suspects. Another man was at the scene in a white shirt, and the child with him is believed to be son to the woman in the black shirt.

The suspects parked a 2021-2022 maroon Chrysler Pacifica upon their arrival.

Please contact Crime Stoppers at 1-800-458-TIPS if you identify any of the suspects.
