Today's weather - Wednesday, December 10th, 2025

BOCA RATON, FL (Boca Post) (Copyright © 2025) — Clouds settled in early over Boca — one of those mornings where even the turn onto Glades feels dim. The forecast keeps the high around 74 today, but it won’t feel that warm with the northeast wind pushing in. It hangs around 14 to 16 mph, gusts near 24, so everything stays a little cooler, a little unsettled.

Rain doesn’t really get going until after 10 a.m., about a 30 percent chance, nothing dramatic. Just those passing showers that streak across Palmetto or splash the Intracoastal bridge when you’re halfway over it. Maybe a stray thunderstorm, though it doesn’t look organized. More like: one minute dry, next minute you’re running in with your shirt spotted.

The clouds don’t break much. Temperatures sit in the low to mid-70s from the coast all the way out past Lyons Road. Barely any sun. If you grab lunch off Federal Highway, that breeze will push across the parking lot and remind you it’s not warming up today.

Tonight, the pattern drags on. A chance of showers and storms before 9 p.m., then a lighter chance until around midnight. After that things calm down, but the clouds hang around anyway. Low falls to about 68. The northeast breeze keeps tapping the windows — 8 to 14 mph with some gusts still poking through.

Tomorrow looks nicer. Finally. Mostly sunny Wednesday with a high near 79. Winds start out of the north around 8 mph but swing west in the afternoon, which usually means drier air slipping in. A better-feeling day all around.

Wednesday night drops to about 59 under clear skies, with a northwest wind around 6 to 10 mph. Thursday stays sunny, high near 75, that same northwest breeze keeping things mild.

Thursday night sits mostly clear, low near 62. Pretty quiet.

Friday’s another good one: sunny, near 77. Winds shift easterly later, a sign the moisture is starting its slow crawl back but not enough to matter yet. Friday night becomes partly cloudy, low around 68.

Saturday brings it back — clouds, a little humidity, and a 20 percent chance of showers after 1 p.m. High near 78. East winds run 8 to 13 mph with gusts to 18, so it gets sticky again, especially the closer you are to Federal or the beaches.

Saturday night bumps the chance of showers to 30 percent, low near 70. Sunday follows suit with a 30 percent chance of rain, high around 79, partly sunny. Not a total washout. One of those check-the-radar-before-Mizner-park days.

Sunday night stays cloudy, around 67. Monday brightens back up — mostly sunny, high near 78, only a 20 percent chance of a quick shower drifting through.

It’s a messy start, cleaner middle, soft landing.

Current Advisories / Watches / Warnings

One thing that doesn’t change much:

  • High Rip Current Risk for Coastal Palm Beach County, running through Thursday evening. Surf stays rough. Strong channels along the entire shoreline, including Boca’s beaches. Even strong swimmers get yanked off their feet in this stuff. Safer to stick with guarded beaches like Red Reef or South Beach until conditions calm down.

Nothing else posted for this forecast area.
