Boca Raton Offices Closed &Amp; No Trash Pickup On Martin Luther King Jr. Day

BOCA RATON, FL (Boca Post) — Keep your trash cans in incorporated Boca Raton residents, there is no trash service running on Monday, January 17th, 2022.

If you live within Boca Raton city limits and your trash pickup day is usually Monday, the city tells us that will be pushed until Tuesday, January 18th, 2022 in commemoration of Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Day.

Pickups regularly scheduled will be pushed to Wednesday, January 19th, 2022.

The city tells Boca Post that all city parks, beachfront parks, and playgrounds will operate under normal schedules.

The city is reporting the following modified hours for some City recreational centers on January 17th, 2022:

    • Boca Raton Community Center | CLOSED
    • Sugar Sand Community Center | 10am – 5pm
    • Swim Center Building | 7:30am – 5pm
  • Tennis
    • Boca Raton Tennis Center | 8am – 9pm
    • Patch Reef Park Tennis Center | 7:30am – 10pm
    • The Racquet Center | 7:30am – 10pm
  • Aquatics
    • The Swim Center Pool | 7:30am – 5pm
    • Meadows Park Pool | 10am – 5pm
  • Golf
    • Boca Raton Golf and Racquet Club | 7am – Sunset
    • Alan C. Alford Red Reef Family Golf Course | 7:30am – Sunset
  • Libraries
    • Downtown & Spanish River Libraries | CLOSED
  • Other
    • Tim Huxhold Skate Park & Shuffleboard Courts | 5pm – 9pm
    • Sugar Sand Carousel | CLOSED
    • Sugar Sand Field House | 12pm – 10:30pm
    • Gumbo Limbo Nature Center | 9am – 4pm
