Koch was arrested for reportedly leaving the country without ever notifying FDLE.

The conviction

According to Lancaster County, MI court records. KOCH was sentenced to 6-23 months confinement and 3 years of probation on count one. On count two KOCH was sentenced to 5 years of probation. KOCH was also required to register as a Sexual Offender.

Subsequent to this conviction, KOCH has registered as a Sexual Offender with the Palm Beach County Sheriffs’ Office on numerous occasions and has signed NOTICE OF SEXUAL PREDATOR AND SEXUAL OFFENDER OBLIGATIONS. KOCH’S most recent registration was on 04/26/2022. Under current COVID 19 safety procedures, registrations/check-ins are conducted through a glass window and signatures are not required. At the time of this registration, KOCH was provided with a copy of the registration including the obligations.

The violation

KOCH departed from the Miami International Airport (MIA) on 06/17/2022 and arrived at the Santiago (STI) / Cibao International Airport in the Dominican Republic.

On 06/21/2022 KOCH was scheduled to depart from the Gregorio Luperon International Airport (POP) / Puerto Plata, La Union, and arrive at the Miami International Airport (MIA).

On this return flight, KOCH was not confirmed as on board. According to FDLE records, the above international travel was never reported by KOCH as required in violation of Florida Statute 943.0435(7). KOCH presented passport number 676356946 during the above travel.

According to the FDLE records, there is no reported/registered passport on KOCH’S sexual offender registration. KOCH has failed to report/register his passport as required in violation of Florida Statute 943.0435(2)(b).

BOCA RATON, FL (Boca Post) — A Boca Raton man has been arrested for failing to register as a sex offender according to jail records released to Boca Post by the Palm Beach County Sheriff’s Office.

Christopher Koch, 50, of 17053 Wandering Wave Ave in the Lotus community located in Boca Raton, has been arrested Thursday evening by the Palm Beach Sheriff’s Office. Boca Post has been notified that the charge filed is “FAIL TO REG AS SEX OFFENDER – FAIL RPT INTENT ESTABLISH RESIDENCE OUT STATE” and “SEX OFFENDER VIOLATION – FAIL TO PROVIDE PERSONAL INFO AS REQUIRED”.

According to the FDLE flyer associated with this sex offender, FDLE reports that they received information about Koch living at 17053 Wandering Wave Ave on 10/26/21. According to PBC property appraiser’s office, Koch took ownership of the $1.2M home located in the Lotus community in September of 2021.

Koch is a registered sex offender as he was convicted of two sex offenses in Lancaster, PA in 2006.
