BOCA RATON, FL (Boca Post) — A Boca Raton CEO was arrested for battery, according to jail records released to Boca Post by the Palm Beach County Sheriff’s Office.

Zheng Ni, 45, of Oslo Ct. in Boca Raton’s Brentwood community, has been arrested early Tuesday morning by the Palm Beach Sheriff’s Office. Boca Post has been notified that the charges filed include “BATTERY – TOUCH OR STRIKE”

According to an arrest report submitted by a deputy from the Palm Beach Sheriff’s Office, deputies responded to a domestic disturbance in progress at Ni’s Brentwood home on Oslo court in Boca Raton at 9:40 PM. There, deputies found that Ni was accused of fighting with his wife about feeding their child as well as his mother’s birthday celebration. Zheng’s wife says that he then choked her and that is why she called 911.

Deputies spoke to Zheng who admitted that the argument was about attending his mother’s birthday party. Zheng claimed that he did not get violent with his wife who called 911.

While Ni’s arrest report indicates only that he is CEO of “Clean Tech”, Boca Post has learned that Ni is the CEO of a company called Greendrogen, Inc.

Zheng Ni was booked into the Palm Beach County Jail at 1:57 on Monday morning. Zheng Ni was released later that day without bond.

Zheng Ni has since plead not guilty to the charge.
