Damian Conti, Arrested

BOYNTON BEACH, FL (Boca Post) (Copyright © 2024) — A SouthTech English teacher has been arrested for having a sexual relationship with a student.

PBSO deputies responded to a call at a Burger King on Lantana Road on February 6th, 2024, where they found a 16-year-old girl who had just attempted to take her own life. Deputies learned that the girl attempted to kill herself because she didn’t want to get her teacher, Damian Conti, 35, in trouble for their sexual relationship. Deputies interviewed Damian Conti who was suspended from his job as an English teacher at SouthTech. Conti was later arrested and charged with 3 counts of Unlawful Sexual Activity With A Minor and 3 counts of Offense Against Students By Authority Figures.

PBSO tells us that detectives believe there are more victims and are asking for anyone with any information to call 1-800-458-TIPS .

According to documents reviewed by Boca Post, Conti’s wife has filed for divorce while Conti was in PBSO custody, where he remains today.

Conti is facing the following charges:

  • 3 counts of 794.05(1) Unlawful Sexual Activity With A Minor
