UPDATE

Investigators with the Palm Beach Sheriff’s Office have charged 57-year-old Guillermo Silva with two counts of 2nd-degree murder and one count of aggravated assault with a deadly weapon.

PBSO tells Boca Post that Silva remained at the scene after the murders where he was taken into custody by first arriving PBSO deputies.

Pbso Investigates Double Homicide In Palm Beach County

 

WEST PALM BEACH, FL (Boca Post) — Palm Beach Sheriff’s Office is investigating a double homicide that occurred near the 500 block of Cherry Street in Westgate.

Palm Beach Sheriff’s Office provides Boca Post with the following alert:

Shortly before 9:00 pm on Saturday, July 2, 2022, deputies responded to the 500 block of Cherry Road, West Palm Beach, in regards to a death investigation. Upon arrival, deputies located two deceased individuals; one adult male and one adult female. The suspect was located at the scene where he was detained and arrested. 

There is no threat to the community.

Detectives from the Violent Crimes Division are currently investigating this incident as a double homicide.
