Warren Picillo Arrested For Making A Bomb Threat

LOXAHATCHEE, FL (Boca Post) (Copyright © 2023) — A West Palm Beach man was arrested for allegedly threatening to blow up The Big Dog Ranch Rescue in Loxahatchee.

According to an arrest report, PBSO deputies responded to The Big Dog Ranch Rescue in Loxahatchee after reports of a bomb threat. Upon arrival, deputies learned that a former employee had just left with his alleged girlfriend who was working at the rescue. Management told deputies that the man, 28-year-old Warren Picillo of West Palm Beach, was acting strange and made threats before he left.

According to the report, Picillo was making obscene gestures and told the manager that “People can adopt my <expletive> dog”. The manager said that she was concerned for her safety with Picillo on the premises. As Picillo was leaving, he started at the manager and told her “You are going to get yours”. He then reportedly said, “I am gonna blow this place up”.

Deputies tried to locate Picillo at the girlfriend’s residence but were unable to make contact. They then tried to locate him at his last known address in Boca Raton, however, he was evicted just days before. Deputies then went back to the girlfriend’s residence where they found Picillo hiding out. Picillo admitted he was hiding the first time because he was scared.

Warren Picillo was arrested and charged with the following:

  • 790.162 THREAT TO DISCHARGE A DESTRUCTIVE DEVICE
  • 843.02 RESIST WITHOUT VIOLENCE
