BOCA RATON, FL (Boca Post) — Victor Abrams of Boca Raton has been arrested and charged with Sexual Assault, according to jail records released to Boca Post by the Palm Beach County Sheriff’s Office.

Victor Abrams, 25, of the 20000 block of Cozomel Court in the Ventura community in West Boca Raton, has been arrested Tuesday morning by the Palm Beach Sheriff’s Office. Boca Post has been notified that the charge filed is “SEX ASSLT – BY 24 YOA OLDER SEX BATT VICTIM 16 OR 17 YOA”.

Boca Post has reviewed a graphic arrest affidavit regarding the incidents that occurred between Abrams and an underage victim. According to the arrest affidavit, the two met on Snapchat.

The victim later told police that he was 17 years old when he first started having a sexual relationship with Abrams. The two reportedly first had sex within hours of meeting each other. Investigators report that there are videos of the victim having sexual intercourse and performing sexual acts on Abrams.

When detectives spoke with Abrams, he said that all sexual relations were consensual, to spite of allegations of non-consensual sex and also an incident with a dog as reported by the victim. Abrams admitted he knew the victim was underage, saying “age was not an issue”.

Filed under FSS 794.05(1), this charge is commonly known as “Statutory Rape” because the victim is not old enough to consent to having sexual relations with an adult.

Abrams was booked into the Palm Beach County Jail at 8:04 on Tuesday morning where he remains on Monday evening.
