BOYNTON BEACH, FL (Boca Post) — Michael Pine of Boynton Beach has been arrested on several felonies including aggravated stalking, according to jail records released to Boca Post by the Palm Beach County Sheriff’s Office.

Michael Pine, 53, has been arrested Thursday for several outstanding warrants issued for crimes he has been committing against his ex-wife. Boca Post has been notified that the most recent charges filed are “784.048(4) AGGRAVATED STALKING” and “836.10(2A) WRITTEN THREATS TO KILL OR DO BODILY INJURY”.

According to a petition submitted by Pine’s ex-wife, she has made the case that he regularly threatens her life. The ex-wife says that Pine threatens to kill her and repeatedly texts her telling her to kill herself. Pine’s ex-wife submitted Pine’s threatening text messages as proof, including images of women who have killed themselves. On one of the messages, Pine captions “pick one” and “it will be the ONLY positive thing you will have ever done for this family!!!!!!”.

In April, PBSO filed a warrant for the arrest of Pine after he violated the protective order. The ex-wife was being escorted from court to her car when she started receiving text messages from Pine, in violation of the protective order. The text messages were received, in front of a law enforcement officer, only hours after the protection order was issued.

In May, the ex-wife reported to BBPD that Pine continued to reach out to her in violation of the protection order and she showed police approximately 70 texts and e-mails. According to investigators, Pine says he doesn’t care about the protection order and continues to send his ex-wife messages like “NOW I AM COMING FOR BLOOD!!!” and “it’s never going to change you’re gonna lie to the day you die keep fabricating stories i’m goingto kill you such a fucking bullshit wake up.”

In June, BBPD responded to the ex-wife’s home for a burglary in progress call. Witnesses say that Pine broke in and stole a dog. According to an arrest affidavit submitted by BBPD, multiple neighbors witnessed Pine smash a window completely with a sludge hammer, enter the apartment, and then exit with a small white dog in his hand. Witnesses say he then returned to the home before the police arrived. The report says that when the police arrived, the dog, a white Maltipoo, was found inside the unit. Pine refused to cooperate with BBPD who later filed for an arrest warrant in June.

Pine was booked into the Palm Beach County Jail just before 5 PM on Thursday. Pine appeared in court with his lawyer on Thursday morning where the judge set his bond to a total of $253,000 for the 8 charges.

An anonymous source tells Boca Post that Pine allegedly tried hiring a hit man to kill the ex-wife and child. The source says that he also searched for how to flee the country.

Michael Pine is currently in the custody of the PBSO jail with a bond set at $253,000 while he faces the following changes:

  • 784.048(4) AGGRAVATED STALKING
  • 836.10(2A) WRITTEN THREATS TO KILL OR DO BODILY INJURY
  • 810.02(13B) BURGLARY OF A DWELLING
  • 812.014(12C) GRAND THEFT
  • 4 counts of 741.31(4A5) VIOLATION OF AN INJUNCTION FOR PROTECTION AGAINST DOMESTIC VIOLENCE
