Woman Hospitalized After Drive-By Shooting In West Palm Beach
WEST PALM BEACH, FL (Boca Post) — Palm Beach Sheriff’s Office is investigating a drive-by shooting that occurred in the Westgate community located near PBI in unincorporated West Palm Beach.
PBSO tells Boca Post that deputies responded to a reported shooting in the area of Westgate Avenue and Wabasso Drive in West Palm Beach. There, deputies found a woman suffering from what was initially believed to be gunshot wounds. First responders realized that the woman was not shot but injured from glass fragments.
The woman was apparently shot at while in her vehicle. PBSO believes that an unknown vehicle driving Westgate discharged a firearm at the woman while she was driving.
PBSO says no suspect information is known at this time.
