FLORIDA — A Florida Silver Alert has been issued for a missing man last known to be in West Palm Beach, according to the Florida Department of Law Enforcement.

FDLE said the alert is for Andres Estrada, 75, from West Palm Beach in Palm Beach County. The Silver Alert is a statewide notice used to help locate missing older adults.

FDLE’s flyer lists Estrada as a white-Hispanic male with gray hair and brown eyes. He is 5 feet 5 inches tall and weighs 167 pounds.

The last known area provided in the alert is West Palm Beach, Palm Beach County. No other details about when he was last seen or what he was wearing were included in the information released.

These alerts can move information fast across agencies and communities, and they rely on people who may see someone in a neighborhood, at a business, or along major roads.

Authority for the alert and the public request for help sits with law enforcement, with FDLE distributing the statewide notice and the Palm Beach County Sheriff’s Office handling incoming information.

Anyone with information is asked to contact the Palm Beach County Sheriff’s Office at 561-688-3000 or call 911.
