BOCA RATON, FL — A $3,000 reward is being offered in a Boca Raton cold-case homicide that began with unidentified human remains found in a canal along State Road 7.
The Palm Beach County Sheriff’s Office says the remains were discovered on Nov. 21, 2000, in the 18000 block of State Road 7, about one mile north of Clint Moore Road in Boca Raton.
The man has not been identified.
According to the PBSO cold case flyer, investigators believe the person was a Hispanic male between 21 and 35 years old. He was approximately 5 feet, 4 inches tall, weighed about 113 pounds, and had black hair and brown eyes.
PBSO said he was found wearing black “Attrak” jeans, a tan long-sleeve work-style shirt, white tube socks with gray and black stripes at the top, and black and white Nike Air shoes.
The case is listed by PBSO as an unsolved homicide.
