UPDATE – 4/20/22

The boy has been located and is now safe.

A good samaritan recognized the boy when seeing him at a park in Coral Springs and notified Police.

The boy was found unharmed and has been reunited with his family. This is after a missing person alert was issued on 4/19/22. Prior to being found, the boy was not seen since Monday Monday, April 18th, 2022.

DEERFIELD BEACH, FL (Boca Post) — BSO is asking for help in finding Jenavious Janvier, 12, who went missing in Deerfield Beach yesterday evening.

The Broward Sheriff’s Office Missing Persons Unit is asking for the public’s help to locate a 12-year-old boy missing from Deerfield Beach.
According to detectives, Jenavious Janvier was last seen Monday, April 18, at around 4:30 p.m. in the area of 700 Northwest 40th Street in Deerfield Beach. Janvier is about 5 feet 4 inches tall and weighs around 70 pounds. He has black hair and brown eyes and was last seen wearing a red uniform polo shirt, long khaki pants, gray shoes and a Fortnite backpack.
