BROWARD COUNTY, FL — Broward Sheriff’s Office Missing Persons Unit detectives said an 82-year-old man who was the subject of a missing persons alert has been safely located.

BSO said Emmanuel Janvier, 82, was found and reunited with family.

The missing persons alert was issued Tuesday, May 19, after Janvier was last seen around 1:40 p.m. in the 400 block of Northwest 40th Court in Oakland Park, according to detectives.

BSO’s Missing Persons Unit handled the case and provided the update that he was located safely.
