BOCA RATON, FL (Boca Post) (Copyright © 2026) — A major traffic response closed multiple I-95 Express lanes and ramps in Palm Beach County on Monday, May 25, after an overturned tractor-trailer was reported near Yamato Road.

According to the traffic alerts provided, the overturned tractor-trailer was reported on 95 Express North before Exit 48: Yamato Road. All lanes were listed as closed, with the incident marked as major. The alert showed a start time of 2:08 a.m. and was last updated at 8:06 a.m.

The closures were affecting several parts of the Boca Raton-area I-95 corridor during the morning hours.

Emergency vehicles were also reported on 95 Express North at Exit 44: Palmetto Park Road, where all lanes were closed. That alert was marked as major, with a start time of 2:30 a.m. and a last update of 8:07 a.m.

On 95 Express South, emergency vehicles were reported beyond Exit 48: Yamato Road. All lanes were also listed as closed there, according to the alert, which started at 2:17 a.m. and was last updated at 8:06 a.m.

Several ramps were also closed in the area.

The ramp from I-95 Mainline/Glades Road to 95 Express North was listed as closed because of emergency vehicles. That incident was marked major, with a start time of 2:26 a.m. and a last update of 8:07 a.m.

The ramp from I-95 Mainline/Congress Avenue to 95 Express South was also closed. That alert was marked major, started at 2:25 a.m. and was last updated at 8:07 a.m.

Farther north in the corridor, the on-ramp from Exit 48A: Spanish River Boulevard to I-95 South was closed because of emergency vehicles. That alert began at 7:15 a.m. and was last updated at 7:48 a.m.

Another alert listed the on-ramp from Exit 48: SR-794/Yamato Road to I-95 South as closed. That incident was marked intermediate, with a start time of 6:32 a.m. and a last update of 8:10 a.m.

Drivers in the area were also being warned to move over or slow down where Road Rangers and emergency vehicles were ahead.

The alerts did not provide details on injuries, what caused the tractor-trailer to overturn, or when the lanes and ramps were expected to reopen.
