FLORIDA (Boca Post) (Copyright © 2026) — A Florida Silver Alert has been issued for an 83-year-old woman reported missing from Boca Raton, according to the Florida Department of Law Enforcement.

FDLE identified the missing person as Catherine Kangadis. She was last known to be in the Boca Raton area in Palm Beach County.

FDLE’s flyer lists her as a white female, 5 feet 5 inches tall and 175 pounds, with black hair and hazel eyes.

The alert is part of Florida’s statewide system used to help locate missing older adults. In this case, the information is being distributed through FDLE’s Missing Endangered Persons Information Clearinghouse.

Locally, the point of contact for tips is the Palm Beach County Sheriff’s Office. Anyone with information is asked to contact the Palm Beach County Sheriff’s Office at 561-688-3400 or call 911.
