BOYNTON BEACH, FL (Boca Post) (Copyright © 2026) — A two-vehicle crash Sunday night at a Boynton Beach intersection left one passenger dead and several others injured, according to the Palm Beach County Sheriff’s Office.

Investigators say the collision happened around 8:15 p.m. near the intersection of Flavor Pict Road and Via Valenza in Palm Beach County. Deputies said a 2020 Honda CR-V was traveling eastbound on Flavor Pict Road in the left-turn lane preparing to turn north onto Via Valenza. At the same time, a 2011 Toyota Tacoma was traveling westbound on Flavor Pict Road approaching the same intersection.

According to investigators, the driver of the Honda began a left turn onto Via Valenza and entered the path of the oncoming pickup truck. The front of the Toyota struck the passenger side of the Honda. The impact rotated the Honda clockwise before it came to an uncontrolled final rest in the westbound travel lane of Via Valenza, facing northbound.

All occupants involved in the crash were transported from the scene to Delray Medical Center by Palm Beach County Fire Rescue for treatment. Investigators said one passenger in the Honda later died from injuries sustained in the collision. The death was confirmed at 9:02 p.m. Another passenger suffered critical, life-threatening injuries, while several others involved were reported to have minor injuries.

The crash remains under investigation by the Palm Beach County Sheriff’s Office Traffic Division.
