Eddys Faraminan Charged With Attempted Murder

UPDATE – 12/12/22

PBSO arrested a man who they say is responsible for shooting a “roach coach” driver who serviced a construction project at the Boca West community in incorporated Boca Raton on Friday, December 2nd, 2022.

While the driver is apparently recovering from his critical injuries sustained from being shot 3 times, the suspect is facing attempted murder charges.

PBSO investigators say that the shooting is a result of a $2.00 dispute. The suspect, identified as Eddys Faraminan, a Plumbing contractor from Miami, allegedly followed the food truck driver onto Glades Road where he shot him 3 times. This was after Faraminan settled a $2.00 debt with the vendor who he became upset with because of the way the transaction was handled.

Following the shooting, Faraminan did not return to work. Project leaders found that suspicious and reported it to PBSO. Investigators then found that Faraminan’s vehicle was seen following the “roach coach” out of the area of the construction project towards Glades Road, where the victim was later found shot.

The driver told investigators that Faraminan followed him and shot him 3 times following a brief confrontation.

Faraminan was arrested and is in PBSO custody while he faces 1st-degree attempted murder.
