WEST PALM BEACH, FL (Boca Post) (Copyright © 2026) — A serious two-vehicle crash at Southern Boulevard and Avocado Avenue in West Palm Beach sent both drivers to the hospital Thursday morning, including one person with life-threatening injuries, according to the Palm Beach County Sheriff’s Office.
Investigators say a 2023 Chevrolet Tahoe was traveling south on Avocado Avenue as it approached Southern Boulevard, while a 2018 Acura RDX was traveling west on Southern Boulevard in the outside right lane approaching Avocado Avenue. According to PBSO, for an undetermined reason, the Tahoe began a westbound turn into the path of the Acura. The front of the Acura then struck the driver-side doors of the Tahoe.
PBSO says the Acura was redirected in a southwest direction after the impact and struck the median. Investigators say it was redirected again in a westbound direction, continued forward, curved north, mounted the curb, and struck a guardrail before coming to an uncontrolled final rest facing north. The Tahoe was redirected westbound and rotated, coming to an uncontrolled final rest facing northwest in the center lanes.
According to PBSO, Janusz Biszupek, the driver of the Chevrolet Tahoe, was taken to St. Mary’s Medical Center with life-threatening injuries. Jordan Ferguson, the driver of the Acura, was also taken to St. Mary’s Medical Center with serious injuries.
